I keep trying to like Twitter, but it’s not an easy task. Lately, Twitter has been forcibly making me follow its 20 “suggested” popular people (ABC News, Fred Durst, etc.). It then bombards my mobile phone with their updates. Of course everytime I remove them from my “following” list it adds them right back. I’m giving up for now. I will probably only be tweeting online until things better better (if ever)…

So, I hadn’t had a haircut since our vacation in Mexico City in May. Marco Rosado from Markismo gave me a killer haircut. This is the dude that did hair and makeup for the movie Amores Perros. He’s also done hair and makeup for Salma Hayek. He rocks. Literally. There was a good size earthquake right in the middle of my haircut. The dude just kept on cutting. Anyway, I was a bit aprehensive about going to a new place, but I hit Toni & Guy in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (England) today. I was pretty lucky that I got a very good stylist named Katie. She did an awesome job. I am pretty happy. I guess you’ll see my renovated “do” in future photos. Stay tuned….

Lorena and I were in Barcelona for the Madonna show at Estadio Olimpico Lluis Companys on the 21st of July.
As usual, it was a magnificent show. She hasn’t lost an ounce of showmanship despite her age. There was a nice tribute to Michael Jackson mid-show during which one of the dancers dressed as MJ, silver glove and all, performed some of MJ’s signature moves to a brief medley of his hits. Madonna also took a minute to express her sadness at the loss of a couple of crew members during a stage collapse in Marseille a few days earlier. As usual during Madonna’s European tours, Paul Oakenfold opened the show and kept the crowds dancing until Madonna took the stage.
